First Visit

At your first appointment you will be able to meet and get to know the friendly office staff and experience the vibrant atmosphere of an office that heals naturally.

You will first be required to complete some simple paperwork detailing your problem, health history and personal information. This information will assist the chiropractor in determining any factors that may be contributory to your condition, and if your problem is likely to be helped by chiropractic.

Once paperwork is completed, and you are determined to be a good candidate for chiropractic treatment, a thorough chiropractic examination will be performed. Your reflexes will be tested, your ability to turn and bend will be assessed, and an array of standard orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic testing will be performed.

An X-Ray review of your spine, or certain problem areas may be performed. The chiropractor will review these x-ray films and study the results of the examination. Your chiropractor will then show you your x-rays and explain the findings of all testing performed. It is at this time that your chiropractor will answer any initial questions that you may have, and then suggest a course of appropriate treatment for your condition.

With a complete understanding of your condition, you will begin your treatment of adjustments and any therapy that is recommended. Periodic examinations will monitor your progress.

It is always recommended that all visits be kept, as missed of skipped appointments may cause the healing process to progress slower than anticipated, and in extreme cases even cause relapse. If at any time during treatment further questions about your care or condition should arise, always feel free to pose those questions to your treating chiropractor, as an informed and well educated patient is a patient that will more than likely take an active role in the healing process, which in turn will make recovery a smoother and faster goal to attain.
